Project type
Video and photography promoting a growing town
Date

Location
Drogheda
There’s always something happening in Drogheda. Our ongoing relationship with Love Drogheda is about finding those stories and giving them a life on screen.
From independent businesses and familiar faces to festivals, historic streets and unexpected corners, we create films that reflect the town’s character. Some invite people to visit. Others give locals a fresh reason to appreciate what’s on their doorstep.
The work spans a broad mix of formats: atmospheric, longer-form films that take time to explore a mood or idea; quick, energetic tourism pieces built to catch attention; and business insight videos that introduce the people behind the shopfronts. Each calls for a different approach, with the filming, sound and edit shaped around the story and where it will be seen.
Festival coverage brings another energy. Documenting events such as the Boyne Valley Walking Festival and Lú Festival of Light means working with moments as they happen, finding the details, reactions and encounters that communicate the experience. Alongside the wider spectacle, it’s often a passing conversation or a face in the crowd that makes a film feel alive.
Working with Love Drogheda over time gives us the opportunity to build a richer picture of the town. Each project adds another perspective, creating a growing collection of films connected by a strong sense of place.
As a Drogheda-based production company, there’s a personal investment in this work too. We know the streets, recognise the faces and care about how the town is represented. That familiarity helps us find an honest, distinctive angle while continuing to look at familiar places with fresh eyes.
Together, we’re creating an evolving portrait of Drogheda: its businesses, its culture, its visitors and the people who keep it moving.
